The 2010 NHL season hasn't treated Jason Spezza too well. Because of an early slump and knee injury, the 26-year-old is on pace for his lowest point total since 2003. To his credit, Spezza has averaged over a point per game since his return to Ottawa's line-up in January and last night against Vancouver, he had the audience talking after an amazing solo effort.
What else...oh yes, the Senators weren't able to add anything more to the score-sheet as the Canucks handled them easily, 5-1. In a game that saw Ottawa put only 14 shots on net, that is some kind of consolation goal for Spezza to take out of it.
