It would have been impossible for Ohio State to look more impressive yesterday. Led by Evan Turner and aided by big time contributions from senior David Lighty, the Buckeyes rolled in the Big Ten tournament final. It all made for a fun bus ride home, with everyone in high spirits.
Especially Turner, the best player in the country, also known as The Villain. This according to Mark Titus, the coolest player in the country, also known as the shark. (Don't you love this Ohio State team?). Titus tweeted:
The Villain is listening to Lady Gaga. I can’t make this up. … He’s listening to “Bad Romance”. On repeat. For 5th time.
Now that the brackets are out and everyone’s looking at every last detail for some insight into what might happen over the next two weeks… How are we just supposed to ignore this info?
Let’s break this down. On the one hand, Villain’s love for Gaga shows he’s secure and not lacking for self-confidence. Any college kid willing to blast Gaga on repeat without blushing… Well, that’s a kid you want taking the last shot. On the other hand, is Evan Turner a seventh grade girl? If he's a seventh grade girl, can he beat Kansas? What about Georgetown?
Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah!
Roma-Roma-ma-ah!
Ga-ga-ooh-la-la!
Want your bad romanceI want your ugly
I want your disease
I want your everything
As long as it’s free
I want your love
Love-love-love
I want your love
What the hell do those lyrics mean? Figure that out, and you may have cracked the code to the Midwest Region. (Or driven yourself insane.)
