↵Former Bengals and Bucs head coach Sam Wyche is decidedly in the latter category. Speaking yesterday at the 11th annual Earl Morrall/NFL Alumni Charity Golf Classic, Wyche was adamant that Tebow would be so successful that one day we will look back and wonder why we ever doubted him. ↵↵
↵⇥"This is the most grounded guy I've been around in a long time. I don't know where these comments are coming from. Maybe folks are trying to blow smoke (trying to affect his draft position). ↵⇥↵
↵⇥"(Tebow) will probably spend one year as a backup, be included in the offense on a limited basis. I predict in year two, he'll be somebody's starting quarterback on a winning team. ↵⇥↵⇥
↵⇥"Ten years from now we'll be talking about, 'How many years now has Tebow been in the Pro Bowl?'" ↵⇥↵
↵Not quite as bold as Mel Kiper's famed proclamation that he would see doubters at Lions receiver Mike Williams's Hall of Fame induction, but a brash statement nonetheless. Not only does he foresee personal success for Tebow, but the quarterback will instantly transform whichever team takes him into a winner. Oh, and he might cure cancer with his smile. Wyche is still undecided on that one. ↵↵
