This man went to Harvard and bases everything he does on statistical analysis, so his NCAA Tournament predictions simply MUST be correct. Here is the bracket from SBNation.com Associate Editor Matt O' Brien, who has four mid-major teams in the Sweet 16 (click to see larger):
Final Four: Kansas, Syracuse, Kentucky, Baylor
Title Game: Kansas-Kentucky
Champion: Kansas

Does Anyone Not Have Kansas Winning the Whole Thing...
I think only one of these predictions does. You guys are so BORING. Give me Ohio State, Butler, Kentucky, and Duke (with Kentucky winning the championship). A nice mix of predictability and surprise.
Picking three (or four) one seeds to go to the Final Four is no fun. Anyone can do that.

Unfortunately, it’s about predicting who will actually win, not which would be hypothetically more “fun.”

True...
But three or more #1 seeds rarely reach the Final Four. I just have this feeling that this year’s tournament might be the craziest since the year when George Mason made the Final Four. None of these one seeds look dominant (even Kansas).
Note: I am picking Kentucky, a 1 seed, to win it all.
