Gators tight end Aaron Hernandez performed well on Wednesday at the Florida Pro Day.
This was an important day for the junior coming out of Florida early. He missed the NFL Combine last month with a back injury so scouts were eager to see what he could do.
He ran the forty yard dash in under 4.6 seconds, which is pretty big. SB Nation's draft blog, Mocking the Draft, had said it was raining in Gainesvillee which might have made for a slower surface.
He also benched 225 pounds an impressive 30 times.
He's on track to be a second day pick.
