Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Paul Pierce scored 29 points in 24 minutes to lead Boston in a 109-97 win against the Knicks amid a sea of green on St. Patrick's Day at the Garden.
Kevin Garnett added 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting for the Celtics, who have strung together a pair of wins after dropping three of four.
Kendrick Perkins grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds, and Rajon Rondo handed out an equal number of assists.
David Lee registered 29 points, nine boards and seven assists for New York, which closed out a five-game road trip at 2-3. Al Harrington provided 16 points off the bench.
