Bristol Motor Speedway was again the scene of one of the best new NASCAR traditions on Sunday, as the 43-man Sprint Cup field was introduced to the crowd accompanied by a song of their choosing.
Much like in baseball when batters step to the plate, each driver selected a song to be played when his name was called during the pre-race introductions.
Some of the more notable selections included Brad Keselowski (Tom Petty's "Won't Back Down"), Denny Hamlin ("Rocky" theme) and Scott Speed ("Love Shack" by the B52s).

I see some songs are being repeated from August. I’m so glad I was there that night, very fun way to do the intros.

Well Martin Truex definitely has the most original one! :)
Interesting choices.

Cool
Great to see the drivers are not having the same song as others like last year! There is a huge difference in music taste with the Busch brothers. Its nice to see Ryan Newman use Bridgette Tatum’s song, supporting an artist he has signed.

Michael Waltrip is running?
LMAO at Scott Speed’s. Hornish’s “Bad Habit” choice is a good pick. Logano’s is also hilarious.
Juan Pablo should have done a mariachi song, those Tennesseeans would have loved that!

Scott Speeds is funny! i about died laughing at Joey Logano’s! i love that song. lets just hope he doesnt start doing the dance! :) Kasey"s song choice is annoying thanks to my little brother playing it on Gutair Hero NON STOP!! lol David Ragan’s is a perfect fit since he is from Georgia and Jeff Gordon just needs to go on some where “Boom Boom Pow” isnt right for him! ;)

Update?
Yup waitin to see Dale Jr’s pick :) my guess it’ll be either country or rock classic… last time it was Thunderstruck, which I find it interesting Ambrose has it this time and didn’t picked an Aussie band which Edwards did after having rap last time which I’ve heard is the front runner for Mark Martin’s song, who had AC/DC last time… patterns anyone?? LOL!! Like that some kept their previous songs, Tony did although I thought he might give Diamond Rio a turn, Kyle’s was picked by Scott Speed who has opted for a REAL classic, with Jeff Gordon taking his song from last time. Jimmie had Thunderstruck last time too. Godsmack remains on the list as does 2001 Space Odyssey lol. Brad’s choice is a message as is Regan Smith and Denny Hamlin’s. I’m convinced Kurt Busch’s choice is because of Dodge, Montoya takes his song from last time. Good for Newman to support his artist and wondering why Edwards & Robby Gordon aren’t doing the same? Shall I also mention that Black Betty is on the Dukes of Hazzard soundtrack?
