Rams Met With QB Sam Bradford This Week

QB Sam Bradford will be at the Oklahoma pro day on March 29th doing drills for various NFL scouts.

We've already learned the Redskins will be hosting him for a private workout prior to the April 22nd draft.

As it turns out, the Rams, who have the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, actually met with Bradford this week.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that Rams officials met with Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford in Florida this week.

Sources told the paper's Brian Burwell that general manager Billy Devaney and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur met Bradford where he's working out.

It makes sense to meet with and talk to him as much as possible. If the Rams select him first overall, he'll be the face of the franchise and pulling in over $30 million guaranteed.

SB Nation's Mocking The Draft suspects the Rams will conduct a private workout with him following Oklahoma's pro day.

A QB? INJURED!!!!!!!

My Gawd! I hope it isn’t going to play out this way, Bradford COULD be good. While SUH is good now! We need a dominant defense or did everyone forget how we had to play run and still got torched by mediocre running backs. There were games that could have been won, had first downs not been gotten or are you forgetting that. Passing wins fans Defense wins CHAMPIONSHIPS! Now New England was on a roll till the Giants shut down brady and made them mediocre. Also one last thing the defense played run and got torched by the passing game as well!!!!!!!
