That's the good news. Bad news is that it didn't really count.
The 2010 MLB Spring Training schedule got underway Tuesday afternoon with an NL East matchup between the Mets and Braves. New York won, 4-2.
The Mets were led by Jesus Feliciano and Ike Davis, who each had two hits, and shortstop Russ Adams, who homered in his only at-bat. Mets fans must be excited -- I mean, what could possibly go wrong in the regular season?
Anyways, this is all really just an excuse to write something up on a real live baseball game.
Baseball! From now until early November. Let that warm sunshine wash over you.
