Well, this makes up for the mundanity of the early afternoon.
It wasn't looking good for Maryland when Michigan State pushed its lead to 16 points midway through the second half. And then it looked a little worse for the Spartans as a 21-6 run swung momentum -- and the lead -- to the Terps, Grievis Vasquez finishing the stretch on a drive with 38 seconds left.
Then Draymond Green hit a jumper, Vasquez answers, and the stage was set for Korie Lucious to sink a three and send Michigan State to the Sweet Sixteen. (Nice duck to get out of the way the pass, too.)
Am I tempting fate by saying this is the end of this weekend's incredible dose drama? Maybe. But isn't this the good kind of tempting fate?
