Alabama's Terrence Cody believes he is the only true nose tackle in the upcoming NFL Draft. In fact, because of that he believes he should be a top 10-15 pick.
"I feel like I’m that perfect 3-4 player," Cody said. "I took up those blocks for Rolando and we both did really good this season."
That may be unlikely because his early slot of pre-draft visits include three teams in the bottom third of the NFL Draft.
The Ravens (25th), Chargers (28th) and Jets (29th) are visiting with Cody prior to the draft.
Cody's got some positive momentum right now because he's lost weight at the last two major weigh-ins leading up to the draft. He last weighed in at 348 pounds and feels his ideal playing weight is between 345-350 pounds.
As a junior at Alabama, he weighed as much as 400 pounds.
Other 3-4 teams that could show interest are Redskins and Chiefs who respectively. own the fourth and fifth picks of the second round.
