The first pick is in and SB Nation's Rams community, Turf Show Times, selects...
The defensive line needs work as well, but there is no more essential cornerstone in professional football than at quarterback. Sam Bradford is the best quarterback available, with medical questions almost certainly cleared.
Mocking The Draft agrees with the selection and says while Bradford may not be the best player available, he's the best fit with the Rams.
The consensus has become that Ndamukong Suh is the most talented player in this year's draft. But how many wins does a defensive tackle get you compared to a quarterback?
MTD is right. Quarterback is the most important position in sports and Bradford is the best pick in this year's draft class. The durability issues are definitely a concern but the Rams have begun to improve their offensive line with the additions of OT Jason Smith and C Jason Brown in the last year.
As long as the Rams continue to provide a solid foundation on the offensive line, Bradford should be a solid pick.
