Around NL East Spring Training 3/26: FEAR THE CONDOR

Marlins: Josh Johnson was scratched with a stomach virus...Bryan Peterson is the CONDOR...Clay Hensley has little opposition now for the fifth-starter job...Leo Nunez is working to stop tipping his pitches...The Marlins might look outside the organization to fill their last bullpen spot.

Mets: Uber-prospect Jenrry Mejia is not guaranteed a spot in the bullpen, despite earlier indications to the contrary...Nelson Figueroa might get to stay on the Mets as a long-man out of the bullpen. If he doesn't make the team, the veteran starter will likely refuse minor league assignment go to Japan, where he is likely to earn a much higher salary.

Phillies: Jamie Moyer pitched well and is likely the fifth-starter...Vote for The Good Phight

Braves: Deunte Heath, the Braves minor-leaguer who tried to buy sex on craigslist has been suspended indefinitely by the team...Derek Lowe said he is ready for Opening Day. Not sure why he wouldn't be.

Nationals: Chien-Ming Wang and Jordan Zimmermann both threw bullpen sessions. Wang is trying to get back on track after a brief set-back recently, while Zimmermann is recovering from Tommy John surgery ahead of schedule...Miguel Batista has made the Nats as the long-man in the bullpen.
