Is it possible to come up with a play that better sums up the Celtics' season than Manu Ginobili's block on Kevin Garnett last night? As Garnett crumbled to the ground, you couldn't help but think to yourself, "This doesn't happen to the old Kevin Garnett. The old Kevin Garnett powers through Ginobili and takes the rim down with him."
The 2010 Kevin Garnett, however, lays on the ground a broken and battered man, trying to come to grips with the idea that his body can't do what it once could. All this from a blocked shot by Manu Ginobili, no young stallion himself.
Hell, could you come up with a better game to sum up Boston's struggles than last night? Just when it seemed like the Celtics were turning a corner, they get blown out at home by a team that makes them look old and slow. The Celtics looked like a fallen champion, and worse, it came against a Spurs team that's pretty old themselves.
It was enough to remind some people of the Miami Heat, the last champion to fade into obscurity very, very quickly due to age. Yikes.

Garnett was fouled
Look again at the replay. Garnett was clearly fouled on the right arm by George Hill, despite the declaration by Shulman that the block was ‘all ball’.
So, yes, it is possible to come up with a better play than that.

F the NBA
bunch of straight up losers. F the refs, F the media. F Ginobli stupid dirty player. It was a flagrant from Ginobli & Hill. Ginobli hit KG’s arm, Hill wacked at his arm. Should have been 2 flagrants in one play, and the stupid refs do nothing.
Like I said, F these refs, they want KG to get hurt, no other player in the league would go up like that hit hard and not get a foul called.
These refs are disgusting. What an utter embarassment of a league. It is nothing but total garbage. Nuthuggers and wannabes, winning nothing and running their mouths.
Ginobli made another dirty play on Pierce later in the game.
Is it a coincidence that both Pierce & KG were on the ground during this game? No, because Ginobli intenionally tried to hurt both players. No sense even playing this game. Celtics should have left after tip off. All the Spurs were trying to do in this game was injure Celtics players. Spurs are a cheap team. They are mad the Celtics and Lakers are champs now, 2 teams that play basketball, not stupid Robert Horry straight up garbage.
F the Spurs let them have their very cheap regular season game, they are going nowhere in the playoffs.
Stupid Ginobli hurt his back good for you Ginobli you cheap dirty player, maybe that is why its you who was out the next game, and Garnett will play AND win the title again.
F the NBA, F this season, Celtics champs anyway cause the rest of you are f’n losers.

Manu Ginobili's block on Kevin Garnett last night?
That’s crazy talk.
“Block?”
No.
Flagrant, grabbed arm, went up high and hard with intent to knock down and injure, swung fast and quick, “wound up” the arm.
Add your buddy Hill and you have 2 flagrants.
Refs. Now that’s crazy talk.

Spurs lose to Nets

stupid article
stupid write up, stupid journalist.

by a team that makes them look old and slow
I don’t think so. Spurs were trying to intentionally injure their players and the Big Boys lets them win.

It was enough to remind some people of the Miami Heat
It wasn’t enough to remind anyone of anything, but another stupid article by a phony journalist.

As Garnett crumbled to the ground
Garnett didn’t crumble to anything.
He got hit by a flagrant(2009)
Got up and won the title(2010)

How about
showing your satanic hero shooting an airball, dribbling the ball off of his foot, slipping and falling down in the last seconds of a game, making a stupid face after a missed shot, going for a rebound and have the ball bounce of off his face, throwing the ball into the stands, shooting another air ball from 3, shooting an airball from the FT line.
Does that some up your season?
Actually it does, but you won’t write an article on that one, cause you’re a backwards stuck up arrogant liar.
and Ginobli’s a piece of garbage, always has been.

ever notice
that the Celtics play 82 meaningless regular season games against 82 teams who think its Game 7 of the NBA Finals?
Check the scoreboard tonight. Nets 90, Spurs 84.
Why do you think that happened.
The Celtics let the Nets win so D Harris and Co. could have some confidence, that an a 17-2 ref call advantage of course.
Know the difference.
Or don’t and become a journalists the choice is yours.

Spurs
so aggresive, so strong, looked so polished and tough, and battle tested, and hungry, hustled so hard and tough at Boston.
How about the answer is not.
Spurs exert 110% all game long, like its Game 7 of the NBA finals, trying not to play basketball, but rather intentionally hurt Celtics players. They are so great and so awesome right? That they lost to the Nets the next night, in a game they poured their hearts into. With stupid Ginobli getting a haircut and going to Men’s Warehouse.
Yeah We’re gonna like the way you look Ginobli. Sitting on the bench, with a hurt back, and losing to the Nets, because you didn’t know how to act the day before playing basketball’s best.
Kevin Garnett that is.

replay
now that I watch the play again has to be the worst officiated play in the NBA this season.
Sorry Ginobli, nobody goes up for a block like that.
You go up like that to injure a player, not make a block.
Worst call this year.
NBA is garbage.
Celtics here to clean up this mess and throw out the trash.

I don’t know why people think Boston fans are insane. I really don’t.
