Sheldon Souray Will Agree To Waive No Trade Clause To Most Of NHL

With the deadline coming in three and a half hours, talks are heating up that Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray may be moved as well. Souray has a no trade clause in his contract and is under contract until 2011-12. He has softened his no trade clause according to Darren Dreger of TSN:

To encourage a trade, Sheldon Souray has softened…won’t go to a CDN team, but will waive for 19 other teams.

It will be interesting to see who will pick up Souray because he is still injured with a broken hand and only has played in 37 games this season.
