Mike Richards took away 45 games from David Booth's season and a chance to represent the United States at the Olympics with a devastating check in October that concussed the Florida Panthers forward. With over four months of time to contemplate what possible actions he would take in his next match against the Philadelphia Flyers, Booth didn't waste any time going after their captain less than three minutes into the first period.
Richards rolls his eyes after the scrap (if you can call it that) as he was obligated to drop the gloves pretty much. Booth had a memorable night with a goal and three assists; part of a Gordie Howe Hat Trick in a 7-4 victory. If anything, this will give both men a bit of closure to the whole incident that began in October.
