About two weeks ago, Carl Landry was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Sacramento Kings. Based on his footwear, though, you could argue his heart is still in Houston.

Yup, that's red, if you look a little closer. And yes, that's his Kings teammate behind him, wearing purple. The story is that Landry, having not received new shoes from the Kings yet, is wearing his old Rockets shoes. In the meantime, the Kings are doing everything they can to cover up the red, according to SB Nation's Rockets blog The Dream Shake.
[Rockets announcer] Bill Worrell noted that one of the Kings' trainers colored over as much red as possible with a black marker, nearly ending any association that Carl had left with Houston. There is still that red sliver of Rocketness in him, until the new shoes come in, of course.
So the Rockets and Kings are big rivals now? Huh? Who knew showing a little red on his shoes was such an unforgivable sin?
