After suffering through their worst winter games in recent history, the head of the Russian Olympic effort resigned yesterday. Leonid Tyagachev oversaw Russia's 11th place finish, and will likely watch the Games in one piece thanks to his solid judgment and willingness to listen to the "gentle nudging" of Vladimir Putin.
