During the third quarter of Friday night's Pistons-Cavaliers game in Cleveland, Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey left the floor and promptly collapsed near the bench. Stuckey was unresponsive. Behind the bench, fans fell silent, as medical staff attended to Stuckey.
Stuckey was loaded into an ambulance and is now being taken to a medical center about a mile away. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers and Pistons have resumed play.
Unfortunately, details regarding Stuckey's situation are scarce at the moment. We are hoping the best for Stuckey, and as soon as we learn more details, we'll pass them along.
