2010 SB Nation NFL Mock Draft: Pick 49

The second round of the 2010 SB Nation NFL Mock Draft rolls along. We're having each SB Nation blogger make selections for their respective teams. Fooch, lead blogger at SB Nation's San Francisco 49ers blog, Niners Nation, checks in to make the No. 49 overall selection in this year's mock. Take it away, sir!

With the No. 49 overall pick in the 2010 SB Nation NFL Mock Draft, the San Francisco 49ers have selected Vladimir Ducasse, OT/G, Massachusetts.

Fooch says: Sorry, this blogger did not send in a write-up.

Mocking Dan reacts: Ducasse would be a great piece to add after the addition of Trent Williams in the first round. By taking two offensive linemen early, the 49ers would be able to close the book for some time on starting offensive linemen. For a team on the come-up, that's pretty huge.

Speaking of huge, that's what Ducasse is. He's a mauler who may have played out of position at offensive tackle.

Mocking the Draft's Top 5 remaining prospects: 1 - Rob Gronkowski/TE/Arizona, 2 - Brandon Spikes/LB/Florida, 3 - Chad Jones, S, LSU, 4 - Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida, 5 - Arrelious Benn, CB, Illinois

Sound off, SB Nation! What say you of San Francisco's selection of Ducasse? Please be sure to check out Niners Nation for all of your 49ers needs.
