Do you love sports and hard bread, but struggle to come up with a way to combine the two pastimes into one delicious amalgamation? Then Pangea Brands founder Josh Fink might just have the ideal solution for your predicament:
Starting in May, Pangea will roll out ProToast, a line of toasters – available in every team from the four major sports – that pops out with the teams logo burned into it.
"Our motto is ‘Toast Your Team,’" Fink says.
It doesn't stop there, either. Fink intends to expand to collegiate logos and FDA-approved colored toast markers, and, among other things, dreams of one day releasing toasters customized for individual player faces. Getting your face on toast: not just for Jesus anymore. Makes the perfect accessory for the person in your life who's expressed a desire to eat Sidney Crosby for breakfast.
ProToast units will be made available next month, and retail for $34.99. The Astros toaster will come equipped with a special bagel setting.
