So here are a bunch of tiny schools whose athletic departments you're probably not used to hearing about outside of basketball season. On this list of 2010's worst I-A versus I-AA games, does anything in particular stand out to you?
These games are all indefensibly craven scheduling moves. But there at the bottom, do not fail to note that 49-time national champion Alabama has scheduled Georgia State, a team that will be playing its inaugural season as a program. The Panthers will doubtless be receiving a large sum of compensatory cash, but any sympathy for Alabama's excess of bye weeks should now be dialed back a couple notches.
