Slugger Lance Berkman, who underwent minor surgery on his knee early in March, is due to return to the Astros, according to Bernardo Fallas:
Lance Berkman to make season debut tonight for #Astros. Roster move just hours from being announced.
Berkman appeared in two games for AAA Round Rock, delivering two doubles and a homer in six at bats. His power and overall production has been sorely missed by an Astros offense that, to date, has been almost indescribably terrible. Houston, as a team, has hit .215/.240/.285, posting a lower OPS than Juan Uribe's slugging percentage.
