More Details On Adam Carriker Trade: Rams, Redskins Swap 5th Round Picks

Finally, the Redskins managed to trade for a player without losing draft picks.

According to reports, they received Adam Carriker from the Rams by merely swapping fifth round picks with St. Louis. This means the Redskins will now have the 32nd pick in that round, and the Rams move up to the fourth pick in the fifth round. The Rams also hold that round’s first selection.

Carriker, a former first rounder, still has two years left on his rookie contract, so the Skins will pay him $1.07 million this season and $1.42 million in 2011.
