The NFL draft moved into primetime for the first time in history.
Was it a success? Early returns a resounding yes.
According to a tweet by Greg Aiello, the league's senior vice president of public relations, draft ratings were up 30 percent vs. last year's first day of the draft (Saturday 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and 55 percent up over the 2008 draft (Saturdaty 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
With Jimmy Clausen still on the board, day two could be another big draw for the NFL.
