Impressive from his unbelievable name to his redlocks to his satan beard to his facepaint to his name is Bear Woods. We'd call him Captain Jack Sparrow, but his name is BEAR WOODS. If he somehow doesn't make the team, Mike Smith's new nickname is Mike "Bear Woods" Smith.

Shortly after the 2010 NFL Draft came and went, it was announced that LeGarrette Blount, who had been left sitting at home, undrafted, was signing with the 49ers. Well, apparently he has changed his mind, because the former Oregon Duck is off to Tennessee, where he'll sign with the Titans.
Blount originally only reached a verbal agreement with San Francisco, and according to Aaron Wilson at National Football Post, decided the Titans were a better fit.
After talking the decision over with his family and Titans coach Jeff Fisher, Blount decided that his best opportunity lies in Tennessee. [...]
With the Titans no longer having LenDale White on the roster, Blount felt like there was a chance for him to provide a power running presence behind Pro Bowl running back Chris Johnson.
The guys over at Niners Nation are somewhat disappointed, but consoling themselves with Mississippi State RB Anthony Dixon, who San Francisco drafted in the sixth round, and compares physically to Blount.
Meanwhile, our Titans blog, Music City Miracles, is excited about Blount's sudden decision change.
This is a big one! Blount originally signed with the 49ers, but he felt he had more of a shot over in Tennessee, with our limited running backs ... I find this signing surprising considering the Titans have been all about character guys this draft, and Blount has an obvious temper problem, with the punching incident as well as a previous suspension for skipping team meetings. Blount was projected as a 4th to 5th round draft pick before the draft and a 1st to 2nd round pick before the punch, so if he stays out of trouble he's a steal.

SB Nation's Detroit Lions blog, Pride Of Detroit, is keeping tabs on all the undrafted dudes reportedly signed by the team since the conclusion of the NFL Draft. Here's a look:

WR Michael Moore - Georgia (Source: John Niyo)
DT Robert Callaway - Saginaw Valley State (Source: John Niyo)
LB Ryan Stamper - Florida (Source: OnlyGators.com)

Per Windy City Gridiron, our Bears blog, we learn that the Bears are picking up plenty of players, and a couple of them are Chicago natives:
League sources said that wide receiver Freddie Barnes, who caught 155 passes for 1,770 yards and 19 touchdowns last season for Bowling Green, and Indiana linebacker Matt Mayberry will sign free-agent contracts with the Bears.
Both Barnes and Mayberry made pre-draft visits to Halas Hall and were given workouts. Barnes, a Homewood-Flossmoor product, had some of the best hands of any receiver in the draft. Mayberry, a Hinsdale South product, chose the Bears over the Atlanta Falcons.
The list of the Bears' post-draft signings has grown to ten. To keep up, head on over to Windy City Gridiron.
SB Nation's blog, Mocking The Draft, has put together a quick rundown of the most notable names that have been signed since the 2010 NFL Draft concluded on Saturday. Take a look:
Jevan Snead: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Donovan Warren: New York Jets
Jeremy Williams: San Diego Chargers
Sergio Render: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Colin Peek: Atlanta Falcons
Brandon Lang: San Diego Chargers
Stafon Johnson: Tennessee Titans
By the way: trying to follow post-draft happenings without reading Mocking the Draft is like trying to ride a bicycle without brakes. You will get hurt. Unless you're a hipster.
Now that the 2010 NFL Draft is over, the Kansas City Chiefs are wasting no time with scooping up the undrafted. Our Chiefs blog, Arrowhead Pride, is maintaining a list of players the team has signed since Saturday afternoon, as well as a list of players the Chiefs are reportedly interested in:

Is this a trend? NFL teams seemed reluctant to spend draft picks on fullbacks, but with the draft over, fullbacks are being scooped up. Louisville FB Joe Tronzo has found a home a 90-minute drive away in Cincinnati. From our Bengals blog, Cincy Jungle:
On his personal Facebook account, fullback Joe Tronzo says that he's signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night. Listed as the ninth fullback by Scout Inc, Tronzo is primarily a blocking back that plays special teams. On Louisville's team page, it writes that Tronzo is a "fierce competitor and hard worker... one of the toughest and most physical players on the team... has emerged as one of the toughest blockers on the team... not afraid to put his nose into the defenders' chest."
During his Pro Day, Tronzo "ran the 40-yard dash in 4.70 and 4.64 seconds, had a 32-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot broad jump, a 4.21-second short shuttle, a 6.97-second three-cone drill and 32 bench press repetitions at 225 pounds."
Head on over to Cincy Jungle for all things Bengals.
The NFL's undrafted free agent signings continue Sunday, as the Raiders have picked up UCLA fullback Chane Moline. Our Raiders blog, Silver and Black Pride, has more:
Last season he was voted co-MVP of the Bruins, along with Brian Price and Rahim Moore. In one game, against Washington State, he scored 3 touchdowns (On 3 Carries of 2 yards 6 yards and 16 yards) and his 6 Touchdowns on the season led the team.
Moline also has experience on Special Teams and at Half Back (He split time there last season). At 6' - 247, he is quite a load to bring down and he ran a 4.58 40. I love THIS PHOTO
This makes two nice fullback additions which is fantastic seeing that Oren O'Neal can't stay healthy and Luke Lawton is terrible in pass protection.
For more on the Raiders, head on over to Silver and Black Pride.

Jevan Snead was the biggest name available in the 2010 undrafted free agent class and now he's chosen to sign with the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Snead was projected before the 2009 season to be a first round and his stock dropped in incredible fashion.
He wasn't drafted and ultimately decided the best place for him was Tampa Bay. The Bucs only have Rudy Carpenter, Josh Johnson and Josh Freeman on the roster so he has a good shot at making the team.
This story was originally posted by SB Nation's Joel Thorman.
LeGarrette Blount's name is well-known for the wrong reason.
Early in the 2009 college football season, he punched an opposing player in the face (without a helmet on) on the field. He was suspended for much of the season.
Blount, who was projected by many as a 5th-6th round draft pick, was not drafted but quickly signed as an undrafted free agent with the 49ers.
Read more about Blount and all the 49ers UDFAs at Niners Nation.
First up: Donovan Warren, who we reported on earlier.
On Saturday, we lamented the fact that Michigan cornerback Donovan Warren wasn't drafted. Well, Rex Ryan apparently didn't forget about him. Minutes after the draft ended, Warren himself tweeted:
Naw I ain't get drafted but I'm wit the Jets. Let's get it!!
This tweet was noticed by our excellent Jets blog, Gang Green Nation. GGN is surprised that Warren wasn't ever drafted to begin with:
The biggest surprise to me was that Donovan Warren went undrafted, the cornerback from Michigan, was regarded as one of the better CB's during 2009, and 32 teams managed to pass him up , 7 times +.
[...] Warren had 7 pass break ups and 4 interceptions in the Big 10 last year for Michigan, he also tacked on 66 tackles. Finishing his three year career with the Wolverines with 170 tackles, 16 passes broken up and 6 interceptions.
Warren's signing has since been confirmed by the LA Times.
For more on Warren, as well as all things Jets, head on over to Gang Green Nation.

The Jets are also inviting quite a few tryout players to their rookie minicamp. Gang Green Nation also has the list for those 20 players:
