Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was suspended for six games by the NFL last week. He waited until the draft was over to make a statement.
Here is his full statement:
"The Commissioner's decision to suspend me speaks clearly that more is expected of me. I am accountable for the consequences of my actions. Though I have committed no crime, I regret that I have fallen short of the values instilled in me by my family. I will not appeal the suspension and will comply with what is asked of me ─ and more.
Missing games will be devastating for me. I am sorry to let down my teammates and the entire Steelers fan base. I am disappointed that I have reached this point and will not put myself in this situation again.
I appreciate the opportunities that I have been given in my life and will make the necessary improvements."
Roethlisberger is becoming more PR conscious. Notice how he pointed out that no crime was committed.

Pig Ben
Rothlisberger is a pig, a swine! Three different women on three different occasions have alleged sexual misconduct against the guy. His teammates think he’s too egotistical, and he thinks that they win mostly because of his play, rather than the team concept. Sorry, but that pick James Harris ran back 10 yards was as important as any play the qb made in the Super Bowl. Plus,. bar and club owners/employees in Pittsburgh have stated that he is a complete dickhead jerk when he comes to such establishments. It has to suck in so many ways to be a woman in the U.S., when the “law” is so slanted against you, and full of droves of loopholes you can slither out of with enough money and fame.

No apology to the young woman? NO, he is too busy sucking up to the fan base and management.
Did not expect him too. She will rightfully get her suitcase of cash in court. Although that is hardly sufficient to make up for his actions towards her.
