British Open Hecklers Given Green Light On Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods had the privilege of playing in the sporting equivalent of a sterile bubble for his return: Augusta, the very definition of a controlled environment with security, aggressive crowd control, and marshals holding pictures of Woods' mistresses to ensure they did not get close to Woods. Heckling at any point meant ejection, an offer no Masters patron accepted.

The same will not be true of his second major. Officials at St. Andrews say as long as spectators are not interfering with the play of the tournament itself comments will be tolerated. The power of the British heckler will be given the partial greenlight to flex its muscles, meaning you may be subjected to the beauty of drunk Scottish men dressed up like blonde cocktail waitresses blowing kisses at Woods on the first tee. (If you're lucky, that is: haggis, beer, and climbing out of twenty foot bunkers make for some shapely calves, indeed.)
