All I know is that its been nine years since his death and NASCAR still has not recovered.   Sure NASCAR has moved on, but it still has not fully recovered from the huge void left by the absence of "The Intimidator".

People have tried to step up and take his place, but only to find out that the shoes they're trying to fill are too big.  They still have some growing to do before they can fill Earnhardt's boots.

Happy Birthday Dale, we miss you - and yes that even includes the Gordon fans.
