As a way to welcome new members into their little club in Augusta, winners of the Masters get together for dinner Tuesday night before the tournament starts, with the previous year's champion getting to pick the spread. Tonight's menu is courtesy of Angel Cabrera, with a distinct Argentine flavor.
EMPANADAS DE CARNE ( Beef Empanadas with Scallions & Olives)
LOCRO (Argentine Stew Made with Corn, Beans, Bacon, Beef & Chorizo)
CARNES ASADAS A LA PARRILLA (GRILLED MEATS) Served with CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
- Chorizo (Pork Sausage)
- Morcilla (Blood Sausage)
- Mollejas (Sweetbreads)
- Lomos Enteros (Filet Mignon)
- Vacio (Flank Steak)
- Costillas (Short Ribs Bone In)
The full menu is available at our PGA blog, Waggle Room. But a warning: it will probably make you hungry.
