SIGN: "Tiger: did you mean Bootyism?"
LEGALITY: To the best of our knowledge, it's perfectly legal to fly over Augusta national (at least for white, male planes), so this looks fine. Expensive, maybe; but no trespassing here.
CREATIVITY: Because Bootyism sounds like Buddhism, you see? A bit corny, yes, but it does highlight one of the oddest aspects of Tiger's rehabilitation process: his sudden renewed faith in Buddhism that had most of asking our friends, "Hold up, since when was Tiger Woods a Buddhist?"
AUDACITY: I mean, somebody spent a lot of money to make this happen, and EVERYONE at the Master's saw it. That's pretty damn audacious. The only way to one-up it would be to fly a plane into Amen Corner. (DO IT!)
FINAL GRADE: B+.
Sure, it wasn't illegal and didn't necessarily offend any members of Augusta, but it's a solid effort, and more importantly, a good omen for those of us looking to the Masters for equal parts comedy and drama. Clearly, hecklers will go above and beyond for Tiger this year. Let's just hope they remeber to heckle Jim Nantz too.
