NFL Mock Draft, Pick 46: Giants Select Brian Price, DT UCLA

The 46th pick is in and SB Nation's Giants community, Big Blue View, has selected...

UCLA DT Brian Price

From Big Blue View:

Price is a first round talent, and I've seen him rated as high as the third best defensive tackle in the draft (not bad in a draft where two DT's will be going in the top three picks). Price will really help solidify the Giants run defense, giving Tuck, Umenyiora, Kiwanuka, and Morgan more leeway to go get the quarterback.

From Mocking The Draft:

Great value and a great selection. There are some questions about Price's effort and consistency, but a head coach like Tom Coughlin should theoretically be able to fix those things.

I like this pick a lot. The Giants' hallmark in recent years has been dominant defensive line play and that should continue by plugging Price into there. The Giants just got better.
