Hanley Ramirez apologized on Wednesday, but not without a nudge from former teammate David Ortiz, according to Peter Gammons:
David Ortiz's Tuersday [sic] text exchanges with Hanley Ramirez convinced Hanley to appologize [sic] and move on
It may be some surprise that Ortiz is the one urging Hanley to apologize, considering Ortiz didn't have the nicest words for his situation back in April. I guess things change when you hit .373 with 7 home runs in May.
Ramirez is 2 for 2 with two singles through two innings of Wednesday night's game against the Cardinals.
