Lance Armstrong's tumultuous Thursday continued into the evening, and is now complete with X-rays and a picture of a gnarly cut that required stitches.
After his crash today in the fifth stage of the Tour de California, Armstrong took to his Twitter account to update everyone on his condition.
I'm alive. Fell face first and banged elbow pretty good. Xrays on the elbow were neg. Extremely disappointed not to be able 2 continue.
Armstrong then sent out a picture, showing exactly what happens when you crash in a cycling race and land face-first.
Not the best ending to a day that began with Armstrong having to deny doping allegations made by Floyd Landis.
