I taught English for a while, and I had two rules. First, no Jane Austen unless it came on a DVD, and second, no body slamming of Mr. Hall in class. Armbars, yes: but no one got a body lift on me in the squared circle of the classroom. No. One.
Did I mention I taught kindergarteners? And retired with a lifetime record of 56-3-1?
This fight is a bit more fair, but only by the thinnest of margins:
The student on the right is Jamerson Love, a Mississippi State recruit who is the best evidence since the Egg Bowl victory over Ole Miss that the Bulldogs really are stepping up their recruiting. The poor man being bodyslammed is teacher Shobul Johnson, who was fired after not only inviting Love to tussle, but having the students black out the windows before the fight and move the furniture around to clear space. His consideration for school property, sadly, did not save his job.
