Apparently, no snags were hit in the firing of Vinny Del Negro.
Chicago's CBS-2 is reporting that, according to their sources, the Bulls have fired their head coach.
The move would come after Del Negro spent the weekend meeting with the team's front-office personnel, including owner Jerry Reisndorf. The official announcement is expected to come on Tuesday at noon.
Del Negro was 41-41 in both seasons with the Bulls, with a first-round playoff exit in both 2009 and 2010. Oh, and then there was the time he nearly got into a fight with John Paxson, the team's Executive VP of Basketball Operations.
