Ryane Clowe's between the legs goal on Sunday prompted TSN to create a compilation with the ten best goals of such a specialty. Mostly, you'll find the usual suspects involved...mostly.
Jonathan Cheechoo wishes he could still pull off those types of plays and Marek Malik's legacy is placed heavily onto that shootout goal. No matter how many times I watch Maxim Afinogenov's goal, I cannot figure out how he pulled that move off, which should have been ranked as the No.1 choice.

I have to go with Maxie’s whirlwind goal as my favorite, but Malik’s is a close second. I remember sitting up and watching that shootout go to something like 14 rounds, then when he scored the winner, Malik had a look on his face like he knew he had it the whole time…amazing…

Even if i wasn’t a sabres fan, afinogenov’s would be my favorite because that’s the type of play, the way it happened, you may never see again.
