Amare Stoudemire Might Need A Little Refresher On This Whole 'Latino' Thing

It doesn't dampen the entusiasm from last night's victory by "Los Suns" one bit. Anytime you can protest an unconstitutional law and preserve home court advantage at the same time (securing their borders, if you will), then you've had a very good day.

But here's what Amare Stoudemire tweeted in advance of last night's game:

↵

We support the Latin commuity. They are apart of the 12 tribes of Israel. It 1 Nation under YAH (god). Let's come together. Shalom !! 1love

↵
↵

"Oh word?! I didn't know the Latinos got down with David Stern and 'em!"

↵

Oh, wait. They don't? They don't.

↵

No, Amare, the Suns are not supporting one of the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel. It's also "Latino" and not "Latin." But who really cares? So what if he thinks Latinos are descendants of Israel?

↵

Amare may not totally understand the cause, but damnit, he's powering the movement anyway. He was awesome for Phoenix last night, with 23 and 11 to lead the victory. As a result, the Suns were able to come together and win, and fans like these got to go home happy.

...And now it's 2-0 Suns. L'chaim!
