The wheels are in motion for the Rams and Cowboy to finalize a trade that will send Bobby Carpenter to St. Louis and Alex Barron to Dallas.
According to NFL.com's Steve Wyche, Alex Barron has signed his restricted free agent tender.
Barron couldn't be traded until he signs that and is officially under contract so this is another piece to the puzzle in completing the trade.
Now that he's signed, the Rams can deliver him to Dallas.
