Minutes ago, the PGA Tour's official leaderboard listed that Tiger Woods withdrew from the 2010 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Now, the PGA confirms it via Twitter:
Tiger Woods has withdrawn from @2010PLAYERS. Neck injury.
Woods withdrew on the seventh hole. He entered Sunday a full ten strokes behind the lead, and given the crowded pack at the top of the leaderboard, his chances of placing near the top were slim.
