It's just a minor note from this week's E3 video game conference out in Los Angeles, but in this video, the creators of EA Sports' forthcoming NBA Jam reveal that in addition to replicating the format, announcing, and absurdist gameplay of the original Jam, the game includes "legends" like James Worthy, Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, and, yes, Detlef Schrempf.
If you don't remember Detlef as an "NBA Legend," then you clearly didn't grow up playing with the Payton-Kemp-Schrempf, Supersonics JUGGERNAUT on the NBA Jam of yesteryear. Above, Schrempf is pictured with comedian Aziz Ansari, because... Well, because someone slipped some acid in your lunchtime coffee.
But where were we? Oh, right. NBA Jam. Yeah, it'll be really awesome. Check it out here.
