A defenseman with exceptional puck moving skills and decision making ability, Gormley fits the Jackets' need for offensive punch at the blue line and defensemen who can play a puck-possession game under new head coach Scott Arniel. A well rounded player who can serve on both the PP and PK, he has the potential to become a future top pairing defenseman for the CBJ.
