You knew it would be good when ESPN's Doris Burke went straight to Ron Artest to talk to him after the Lakers won Game 7 of tonight's NBA Finals. This is the same man who demanded Craig Sager say "Queensbridge" in a postgame interview earlier in the playoffs, after all.
Luckily for us, the viewing public, Artest didn't disappoint, thanking his shrink, among others.
Clearly, that tops ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Congrats Ron.
The next logical step, of course, is for someone to create a Twitter account called "RonArtestShrink." I give it about five hours until this happens.

unabashed and unpretentious joy!
Caught up in the exuberance of having just come through with a superlative supporting effort and clutch ‘tre’ when it counted the most, Ron Artest’s post-game interview was a refreshing break from the canned type of stuff many more ‘close to the vest’ stars present, and a heck of a lot more entertaining!
And I thought it was indicative of his less-than aggrandizing nature to give credit to others, with not a shred of hesitancy in revealing he had been visiting a psychiatrist. So I say good for him in trying to overcome his mental and/or emotional difficulties, and for not being too proud to admit it. Were more of us as unpretentious as he, we would perhaps be the better as persons for it.
So I say congrats to Ron for a victory well deserved— enjoy vacation and best to ya on your new CD!
