Somewhat lost in the controversy surrounding the amazing U.S. comeback draw with Slovenia is the first American goal that gave hope, and ignited a furious second half. It was an absolute strike from Landon Donovan to the top of the net from point-blank range. But I'll let him tell you about it.
"I wanted to make sure my first touch was at the goal. My first thought was to pass ... but at the end I took a touch and decided to aim at his head."
