Johansen is generating some Top 10 buzz, which has been steadily snowballing after his playoff performance with the Portland Winterhawks. He's a big, gifted playmaker, though he showed off some defense this year. He's not necessarily the player-type the Ducks will look for at 12th, however. Despite drafting two forwards in the first round last year, I think they're probably in the market for a speedy goal scorer and may seriously consider trading up to get a shot at Jeff Skinner or Nino Niederreiter. Their goal scorer alternatives at 12th (Emerson Etem or maybe Alexander Burmistrov) may force them to seriously consider anyone who falls out of the Top 10, defenseman or forward, as I did here.
