Steve Nash will be doing World Cup coverage for CBS in South Africa, solidifying his reputation as both the finest point guard of his generation but also one of our leading correspondents.
You ask: what does Steve Nash have to say about the World Cup that I might care about? Plenty: he’s not only an experienced sports correspondent, but Nash is also a devotee of the beautiful game and host of an annual charity soccer game. (He also pals around with Thierry Henry and Owen Hargreaves, but he’s too cool to brag about that.)
The best part of this? The moment when Derek Fisher shows up and breaks his jaw with an elbow during a live segment. South Africa’s crime may be fierce, but he’s already been through worse than the country can offer at the hands of the Lakers.
