Stay connected with SB Nation

Portgual coach Carlos Queiroz has made four changes to his lineup for today’s match with North Korea, which has just kicked-off.

Replacing Deco in central midfield, who is out with a hip injury, is Thiago.

Simão returns to the starting lineup, back on the right win in place of Danny.

Hugo Almeida starts as the lone striker in place of Leidson.

Miguel has replaced Paulo Ferriera at right back.

Announcers have also mentioned Queiroz’s admission that Portugal must play higher-up on the pitch in today’s match.
