Cubs Blog: Carlos Zambrano 'Must Go' After Outburst

Our Cubs blog, Bleed Cubbie Blue, is just coming out and saying it: on the heels of Carlos Zambrano's dugout tirade and suspension, the Cubs need to wave goodbye to Zambrano.

Is that the kind of "fire" you want? Not me. I think Carlos Zambrano has played his final game in a Cubs uniform.

Bleed Cubbie Blue has plenty more, including some thoughts on how valuable the idea of "firing up your team" really is. Check out the rest.

zambrano

the only thing you should be worried about is winning games, and zambrano does just that most of the time, he has a temper, yeah, but he ranks in the top 3 pitchers for wins currently. we cant afford to get rid of one of our best pictchers just because he has a problem controlling his anger. suspend him, fine him, whatever. the last thing we need is zambrano gone, because the cubs lineup is different every year, they cant decide who to keep and who to bring on. make up your mind!
