Thankfully, the injuries sustained by New York Giants draftee Chad Jones don't appear to be life-threatening, as was feared on Friday. Via Pro Football Talk, we learn that Jones' agent believes that Jones will be able to live a normal life...
"I don't see that based on the type of athlete that Chad is that anything would prevent Chad from walking. And from running, " Arceneaux said.
...but that it's too early to know whether he'll be able to play football again.
His agent, Rocky Arceneaux, said it was too early to say if Jones’s athletic career could be permanently damaged.
Jones and and the Giants will probably have to wait a long time before they know the answer to this question. For more on Chad Jones, check out our Giants blog, Big Blue View, and our LSU blog, And The Valley Shook.
