Bob Bradley has gone to his bench early.
Maurice Edu has replaced Ricardo Clark in a like-for-like substitution, replacing the central midfielder whose mistake started the attack that led to t he Ghana goal.
Maurice Edu started the United States' last group match against Ghana and appeared in their second match against Slovenia.
Clark had not played since the England match, the U.S.'s World Cup opener.
Ghana remain in front of the United States, 1-0 in the 33rd minute.
